This might already have been said in the myriad of analysis: Has anyone considered the possibility that the incorrect pronouncements are in fact coded messages to the terrorists?
Think about it, right after he proclaims that Isis is "contained" Paris happened. Right after he proclaimed that Isis is not in America San Bernardino happened. Now that he has proclaimed that terrorism is not a byproduct of a diseased philosophy but of the second amendment I wouldn't be surprised if there is another mass shooting using "assault" rifles.
