Pure sophistry from Pluto. 1. The term "illegal refugee" is nonsensical. A refugee is someone fleeing a country because of war, persecution or oppression. The ascription of legal status to such term cannot add or subtract to the term. One either is or is not a refugee. 2. Joseph was instructed to flee to Egypt by an angel because of the edict of King Herod. Thus they were being persecuted by a government and were true refugees. Further, God is sovereign over all nations. A directive from God is always right and good, He would know in advance if the Holy Family would be safe in Egypt. 3. No one has said that legal immigration must cease. That is a straw man. The adults are merely saying that we should be cautious and wise with who we allow in to our countries so as to not jeopardize our citizens, culture, or governance. The illegal aliens and false refugees (able bodied men of military age) are nothing more than invaders and should be treated as such. Further, legal immigration from known countries that support, encourage, and fund terrorism must be heavily scrutinized and limited. Nothing more than common sense
