*Rudy Giuliani Just Dropped The Hammer On John Kerry… ‘A Man Who Doesn’t…’*
"...when you don't check the facts..." Duane Lester <http://www.tpnn.com/author/dlester/> January 15, 2016 at 9:49am Many Americans were stunned and angered to learn that Iran held in captivity ten U.S. Navy sailors taken at gunpoint under circumstances still not clear. Iranian officials have said the U.S. military personnel were captured on gunboats in Iranian waters, possibly after mechanical problems caused the vessels to go astray. U.S. officials have countered that there were no mechanical concerns, rather the issue had to do with poor navigation. Add to the anger and dismay over Iran’s provocative actions the feelings of one outspoken Republican leader who was equally, if not more, outraged at Secretary of State John Kerry’s response to the incident. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani says Kerry should be fired immediately for saying, among other things, that he thanked the Iranians for their “cooperation.” “I’m very pleased that our Sailors have been safely returned to U.S. hands,” Kerry wrote in a prepared statement. “I want to express my gratitude to Iranian authorities for their cooperation in swiftly resolving this matter.” The Daily Caller <http://dailycaller.com/2016/01/14/giuliani-says-obama-should-call-for-kerrys-resignation-video/> reports that the controversial statement was enough for Giuliani to call for President Obama to cut Kerry loose. “It’s time to retire when you don’t check the facts before you make a statement like that and you congratulate a country that has killed thousands and thousands of Americans,” an incensed Giuliani said on “Fox & Friends.” Kerry also said, “All indications suggest or tell us that our sailors were well taken care of, provided with blankets and food and assisted with their return to the fleet earlier today.” According to Mediaite <http://www.mediaite.com/tv/john-kerry-thanks-iran-for-releasing-captured-u-s-soldiers/>, that comment came just an hour after Iranian state media released controversial video and photos of the sailors being captured. *Trending Stories* As TPNN reported <http://www.tpnn.com/2016/01/13/alert-after-seizing-2-us-navy-vessels-iran-just-released-this-eerie-video-of-one-of-the-captains/> on Thursday, Iran released inflammatory video showing the detained sailors on their knees, held at gunpoint, and the captain of one of the seized vessels apologizing for the U.S. actions. Kerry later said no apology was officially offered. “And to say that about this [Iran] government, you better have checked your facts first,” Giuliani added concerning Kerry’s reaction to the seizure. “So now we have a secretary of state that doesn’t check his facts, apologizes for the United States, then the United States gets humiliated. This is an embarrassment to the United States. The president should ask for [Kerry’s] resignation, because a man who doesn’t check his facts like that shouldn’t be secretary of state.” Giuliani said if Kerry worked for him while he was an assistant U.S. attorney, “he’d have another job the next day.” The likelihood of Obama firing Kerry is about the same as seeing Iran apologize to America, especially since the secretary of state was the president’s chief negotiator for his prized Iran nuclear deal. __._,_.___ ------------------------------ Posted by: "Beowulf" <[email protected]> ------------------------------ Visit Your Group <https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/grendelreport/info;_ylc=X3oDMTJmbGI3OG50BF9TAzk3MzU5NzE0BGdycElkAzIwMTk0ODA2BGdycHNwSWQDMTcwNTMyMzY2NwRzZWMDdnRsBHNsawN2Z2hwBHN0aW1lAzE0NTI4OTk5OTY-> - New Members <https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/grendelreport/members/all;_ylc=X3oDMTJnbmR2MWZnBF9TAzk3MzU5NzE0BGdycElkAzIwMTk0ODA2BGdycHNwSWQDMTcwNTMyMzY2NwRzZWMDdnRsBHNsawN2bWJycwRzdGltZQMxNDUyODk5OTk2> 1 [image: Yahoo!
