I don't understand how you could have read your article and watched the video
without seeing that kosher and halal are vary different.
Sometime within the last year, either Australia or New Zealand saw a video of
cattle being slaughtered somewhere in the Middle East. The animals are
believed to have been imported from one of those countries by the ear tags.
Export to that country (I can't think of which one) was immediately
discontinued. I'd try to find the video, but I don't want to torture myself.
We've seen news reports that show how proud some of these barbaric people are
to the rest of the world.
