I agree Geoffrey.....It's sad; but at least in my lifetime, I believe that it's been this way.....Remember Walter Cronkite's reports from Viet Nam? Was there any media outlet that reported during the war who was "Pro-American"?
This election cycle has been a real eye opener, especially with regard to the alleged conservative news outlets. FOX News has really been exposed.
