Hey Perp! Yea....We fundamentally disagree here. I can remember back in law school, there was a big "To-Do" about plagerism; where the class participants had worked on their projects for months, and the day that we were to turn them in, the Professor refused to take them, and gave each participant an extra day to ensure that there was no plagerism. I was not at all concerned, I hadn't plagerized anything but I remember asking the question: "What constitutes Plagerism?"
By example, if I refer to reports from CBS News; and say, "*Dan Rather from CBS News reported the following:"* Is that plagerism? Surely other individuals have said the same identical lines before me and will no doubt say something similar in the future. When you listen to what Melania Trump said, (and by the way, none of Melania's sentences run concurrently to Michelle Obama's speech); these are common terms utilized by a host of politicians and probably each and every First Lady over our entire history. I honestly don't think that this is plagerism. Even assuming for a moment that the speech writer had reviewed Michelle Obama's 2008 speech prior to writing the speech for Melania; there is enough distinction, coupled with the fact that the core comments are sentiments that all Americans embrace, both Democratic and Republican alike; that I see this more as an attack by the Secular Progressive camp and a weak one at that.....Much ado, about nothing..... It's a shame, because the focus now is off the focus of Melania Trump's speech, which was a good speech, and now focused on plagerism, which was the goal of the Secular Progressive camp.
