*"When you cite the source, it's not plagiarism. When you don't - even if you don't copy it exactly, but rather do so substantially (which whoever wrote Melania Trump's speech most definitely did), it's plagiarism."*
I agree Perp; but the line, "*Dan Rather from CBS News reports the following*"; which is an introductory line, but probably utilized by a number of sources as data and fact. Eight words, which are identical; and used by many who may cite the same source.....No different than eight words that Melania and Michelle had in common between the two speeches. (I know that this sounds "dumb"; and my example is not all that great, but I hope that you get my point!) No matter; If I were in the Trump Campaign organization, I would strongly advise that "We Move On"! Ignore the hate filled voluminous attacks from the hate filled left wing media who aspire to place Melania Trump; (The Trump Campaign and the Republican Party!) in the most diminutive, negative light as possible; the sole purpose is to hijack the talking poinst of what a fantastic, inspiring speech by Melania Trump; (along with Rudy Guliani; Marcus Luttrell; Willie Robertson; Rick Perry; Patrica Smith; Antonio Sabato Jr.; Sheriff David Clarke; Senator Tom Cotton; Senator Jeff Sessions; and General Mike Flynn!) which made for an inspiring first night of the GOP Convention into a controversy over nothing!
