Look at the election of 2004 and tell me what it got us. i'm not saying either guy was a great choice, but running an election on whether or not fags are allowed to hook up is an example of yesterdays politics that, under my watch, will never be repeated. Just imagine if either party had put up a progressive candidate, be it a democrat, or a truly fiscally responsible conservative, who i would have admired, by the way. Maybe we wouldn't be in this mess now.
