[image: Description: meltdown-mode] [image: Description: Philip Hodges] Even if you don’t particularly like Donald Trump, or if you’re ambivalent or apathetic about the election results, if you’re not a Hillary Clinton supporter, you’ll find the media’s meltdown reaction priceless. I’ll admit that I’m not a Donald Trump supporter, and I assumed that Hillary Clinton was going to win. Even listening to the election coverage as the polls were closing here in Georgia, Erick Erickson was basically calling it for Hillary, something that Erickson had done pretty much ever since the campaign started. He has since graciously retracted all his former statements and has acknowledged he was wrong <http://theresurgent.com/wrong-wrong-totally-wrong-time-to-reset/?utm_content=buffer8388b&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer> . I was pleasantly surprised later in the evening and into the next morning, not so much that Trump won, but that Hillary lost. If she had won – contrary to all the apocalyptic prophecies of many in conservative circles – life would have gone on. Even though I’m not a supporter of Trump’s, I must say it’s been entertaining watch the media in meltdown mode, hurling their own apocalyptic prophesies.
