I have a similar story.

The day after the election, I decided to take the day off, from work,
from politics, and in general, from the internet, where it is true
that I have "poked the monkey" here, on the Daily Kos and Democratic
Underground, in an attempt to get Moonbats to see the proverbial
light. I was tired, and decided to get some stuff done around the
house that had been neglected, and chores that I had been putting off.

So, after trimming trees, hedges, etc., I proceeded to load my 2004
Ford F-150 up, and being that I had more than 2 loads, (actually, I
had almost four loads) I called upon my neighbor to help me load this
yard debris up, who has a nineteen eighty something Ford F-150, and is
not nearly as worried about dings and scratches in his pickup as I am
with mine.

So, we get to yard waste dump, which is only several miles from my
house. I have been there over the course of the years on numerous,
but infrequent occasions, the last time I was there was probably a
year ago. This short Black guy comes out, who I had seen there
previously, I was my typical self, and was friendly, telling him that
I had these two loads, (my neighbor was behind me) and probably two
more. The short Black man immediately started jumping on me, telling
me that I was running a business, (what business I am unsure...A
"Hauling Tree Limbs" business?) and that I can't dump there. Again,
being the diplomat that I am, I assured him that I was not in any
business, that this debris was coming from my yard. The short black
man continue on, with his insulting diatribe, basically calling me a
liar, and insisting that I cannot use the city dump, for which I pay
taxes for. Somewhere in the conversation I said the word "damn"...
(Not God Damned" and it was not directed at the short black man, it
was directed at "the waste, coming out of my damn yard", which was a
mistake, because Shortie then got off on a tangent about, "Don't curse
me you God Damned Honkey white trash McCain supporter". Like Texas,
there are no McCain bumper stickers identifying me as a Republican or
a McCain supporter, there are no bumper stickers on my vehicle at all,
again, I am a bit fussy about my pickup truck.

I called Shortie Black Man's supervisor, right there, in front of him,
and about fifteen minutes later, a taller black guy from the city
(e.g.; the supervisor, who knew who I was and was quite friendly) came
out to the site, and Shortie Black Man got in his car and left the
premesis. We dumped our loads of tree limbs, the next day my neighbor
took the other load that was remaining, and Shortie Black Man was not
there, so I guess the moral of this story is: Like President elect
Obama says, "Change that we all can believe in" is a good thing
sometimes.
