I too remember being totally fascinated with CNN when it debuted in 1980. I don't remember the original broadcast, but I was tuned in by late 1980-1981 and literally became a news junkie! Amazing stuff then....When the first Iraqi war commenced, with Bernie Shaw, Peter Arnett and John Holliman in Bagdhad, it was literally "Must See TV"!
