I can go with the bizarre for relationships of many generations span. I don't really get off to homosexual relationships either. But I don't go with making them illegal on that basis. I think each of us has the right to pick our sexual partners, even teenagers. I am all for protecting people, young and old, from sexual exploitation. Polanski for example first gave the 13 year old girl qualuds and alcohol. That is exploitation and merits the same as it should had the girl been 23 or 33. But what about if the reverse had happened and the girl intentionally seduced and pushed the drugs so to get him into a state where she could rob him of his cash and credit cards? Our statutory rape laws are based on the assumption that the older person took advantage by virtue of age, but do not require any burden of proof that that actually occurred.
