I happened to catch a portion of Shepard Smith's broadcast this afternoon, who stated unequivocally; (and I think repeated claims by both Senator Warner and Senator Burr, of the Senate Intelligence Committee) that Russia interfered with the American election; and did all that it could do to influence the election in favor of Donald Trump, and to disfavor Hill Clinton.
That the Russians utilized RT Television; along with thousands of "Bot's" and "Internet Trolls" (never making the distinction between "Bot's" and "Internet Trolls") to "influence the election". Shep also added that the whole narrative about "Leaks" and Congressman Nunes claiming that there was surveilling and "Unmasking" by the Obama Administration did not happen; that it's a planned distraction; and that now all 17 Intelligence Agencies along with Chairman Nunes has come out and said that then President-Elect Trump nor his transition team were "wiretapped" by the Obama Administration. I somehow missed that announcement by Chairman Nunes or the other American Intelligence Agencies, but this is the narrative that Shep Smith, apparently FOX News and most major mainstream media outlets are running with. I also now wonder why no one is attempting to uncover or produce one of these Russian "Bot's" or Russian "Internet Trolls"? "IF" (they even exist) and they are in Russia; then why can't their ISP route be traced and shown to the American People? I have Verizon FIOS; (It called Frontier FIOS This week; Verizon sold out Florida and a few other States' FIOS operations) but we've never had RT Television here in Florida, either by Time-Warner Cable, or Verizon. I don't know anyone in the Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville or Miami area who does receive RT Television. I don't travel as extensively as I did a few years ago; I was in Atlanta a month or so ago overnight, and the hotel that I stayed in, (which was a four star hotel; a Crowne Plaza) did not have access to RT Television; and I was in Washington D.C. earlier this month; where the hotel I stayed in did in fact have RT Television. I wonder how prevalent the RT Television is in the United States? I just checked on line, and according to Wikipedia, RT is picked up by Dish Network, and also broadcast in Washington D.C. by Cox Communications and Verizon FIOS. That's it. How much of an influence could RT Network have on the American election?
