The article was written be an Sunni Iraqi who lived in Iraq under Saddam... And the problem here is YOUR DISMISSAL of the article because it is "conservative", what-ever than means... His basic point is true --- Name the countries that have elected a member of a 14% minority, A North African in France, an Indian in Britian, a Sunni in Iran, a Kurd in Turkey, a white in South Africa... As this does not occur, it IS TRUE... Further Obama made the very same point.... And the civil shifting in power without blood shed despite the vicious campaign Obama and Democrats waged against Bush for 8 years....
You see, America IS GIVING the world a lesson in how to power share, assimilate, overcome tribal/ethnic/racial prejudice... And much of the LW in the WOrld CAN NOT HEAR due to their own prejudicial blinders of anti-Americanism... Why??? To admit to the lesson would admit that their POV concerning America was and is wrong... And that goes against human pride, ego, and self-investment of the notion "I am a good person"...
