No Mike Hate Speech is a cause the Left demands if it is directed against THEM... But the Left also demands the RIGHT to use Hate Speech against their opponents... This has always been a characteristic of our extreme Left --- one example is you and your blind hatred of Palin...
As I take a more nuanced POV of "Hate Speech" in that there are two competing Rights -- Speech or Physical safety - that require all sides to tolerate verbal stupidity bordering but not crossing over to physical violence from their opponents... Now it is best if debate remains civil, but that condition eliminates the trash talking extremists love to employ... The Left, if it is honest will accept their role in Hitler-like attempts to suppress Free Speech on the Right... Frankly the attempts by the Left to insist on "Gay Marriage" reminds one of the Jim Crow advocates pre 1890's or Prohabitionists pre 1918... Revote until the result suits you rather than accept the will of the people...
