Repugnant perhaps, but let's look at it again. He said, in what appears to me to be an offhand manner, that he is looking at his Medal of Honor. No where did he claim that he earned it. Anyone can come into possession of one. I think the comment is too offhand and too vague to cause a great deal of uproar. I can understand why veterans would find the statement offensive, but remember what he said vs. what might be interpreted. Perhaps we should just wait for lower-case mark to explain his comment himself.
