Many of our Congressmen want to use taxpayer money to create millions of jobs -- ballooning the deficit. SCARY!
A better way is to bring back the millions of jobs we export! Hats, gloves, scarves -- made in China. Bookbags, purses -- made in China. Dishes, furniture -- made in China. What is left for us to do? Go to a big box discount store and look around. Is anything made in your local community or region? Anything? But to bring back jobs by the millions, communities must have a way to market local or regionally made goods. Each community needs a co-op that sells locally made products. Just imagine! Greeting cards could be made by local artists and photographers. There could be locally made furniture, sweaters, dresses, coats, baby clothes, quilts, jewelry and blankets. There could be lovely locally made hand bags, book bags and curtains. A woman would not have to sew zippers on pants all day on an assembly line. On Monday morning, she might sew a set of curtains, then that afternoon, sew a night gown. On Tuesday, she might sew a jacket -- whatever local people have ordered. Half of our population should be involved in farming. for we must create a place in society -- a job -- for each person! Without employment, there is mental illness, homelessness, marital breakdown and ballooning deficits. Obama and members of the U.S. Congress care so very much and are desperate to prevent economic collapse with the loss of millions of jobs. But let's tell them the best way to do this.
