Nope, not according to the official statement. Happened 2 months after he took office. Of course, I've asked repeatedly how the same people didn't officially recognize the economy has been in a recession a year before they said it was the second time... > To somehow suggest Clinton was an economic success and Bush an > economic failure is to ignore some very basic facts. That created massive debt. You're not answering the question; what happened to all the money with a superior Republican economic theory in effect? Why wasn't it a national strategy to put Americans to work instead of putting Americans out of work during a time of war? You're not answering the questions, you're making excuses. One of those planes that hit the WTC flew right over where I used to work. The next day our company had a meeting, and sent our own supplies to the staging area. Was our company thanked by the government? Hell no. Unless the company being put out of business is "thank you" in Republican speak. The President Bush Jr. said: "I'll unite the country if elected". - he didn't. "I'll protect the peace" - he didn't. "I'll create jobs through tax breaks" - he didn't. What, do I need some kind of universal translator to understand what Bush Jr. is talking about? Or do I just need to understand Bushebonics? Either way, it's not any English most Americans speak. No my friend, I'm not missing any basic understanding of Bush Jr. He's been an unmitigated failure on almost every issue you can think of. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Thanks for being part of "PoliticalForum" at Google Groups.
