Good point...how is the
paramedic supposed to verify that they really are a paramedic?

Well, for one, they wouldn't be asking for a PIN number.

As Jack Webb's character in Dragnet told us time and again:
"just the facts mam".

ICE is still a good idea.
You NEVER give a PIN number to anyone period.
