That's not good enough. Wait and see? How many people will bill blown to pieces as we wait and see if Obama does what he has said he will do and continues to prosecute the bogus war on terror. He said he will do it; there is no area of doubt.
The idea that the future of the lives of untold millions rests on what Obama decides to do is insane. In other words we all hope and pray that Obama is the real saviour and not another wolf in sheep’s clothing. How is this acceptable in modern society? The reason that people have to wait and see is because the public have no idea what goes on in the backrooms behind closed doors where deals are done and billions exchange hands behind their backs, because they are not supposed to know. Political debate and media reports are devoid of any substance direction or definitive answers because they can't report what is really happening--it’s all a superficial pantomime. That the elections are a sham, a three ringed circus to erect a facade of democracy for the ruling elites so they can legally terrorize and plunder the American public (who they are supposed to represent) and the rest of the world is beyond any doubt. 200 organizations and individuals stood in the elections but the media makes sure that any other perspective other than that put forward by their representatives in the two (really one) parties of multi-millionaire power hungry thieves is heard by the American people. No one can ask questions that Americans really want answers to neither (answers which neither politician has nor any intention to deal with) and the so election process is one of inane banalities, sound bites and mud-slinging. Barrack Obama is not President elect (a term the media always use to give the false impression of functioning democracy) he is President select--vetted and groomed by the most reactionary and venal forces in American society The ruling elites are not stupid, they know if their interests are to be pursued the hated Bush must go (and be used as a scapegoat, when he just did what was required by US capital) to be replaced by someone who can suck the people in yet again. That a Democrat would win the election was a foregone conclusion, but to give the illusion that there would be a fundamental break from the Bush doctrine the Democrats for the first time cynically ran a woman and a black man as nominees for presidential candidates. So whatever the result, America is going to end up with the first woman president or the first black president. That this is even considered somehow progressive is mindboggling. If America is the bastion of freedom and democracy that us barbarians in the rest of the world are supoosed to fawn over, the election of a Blackman or a woman should not be of any significance whatsoever, after all we are all equal aren't we? Condoleezza Rice is a black and a woman (sort of) who also happens to be an amoral reprobate and a war criminal. Of course statistics prove unequivocally that war and economic meltdown are the result of systematic failure of capitalism that Obama cannot address and he knows it. He knows that the US went to war to secure the oil reserves of the Middle East by force to offset the collapse of the US economy, they all know it, we all know it, but will he ever speak the truth that dare not speak its name? Instead he blames the collapse of the capitalist system on a handful of greedy Wall St Parasites (get serious) and then rewards them by handing over trillions for their avarice.
