I am a staunch unyielding defender of our dog and cat friends. Any cruelty to these animals is just plain wrong, and the full force of the law should fall on those that do it.
****************************************** If we never agree on a single thing in our time on these boards....this is one thing we agree on with all our hearts. Animals deserve better than they get. I'm not a vegetarian...but feel that if we are going to mass kill animals for consumption...they deserve to have the best feed and care humans can provide. Not only is that a basic kindness...but a smart way to raise our food. Keeping animals in inhuman. airless tiny areas , feeding them crap or ground up other dead animals is one of many reasons why I believe we get sick with deseases . As far as domesticated cats and dogs...you can't ask for better company and unconditional love. I have always had pets and always will till the day I die. I will have a home ready for any animal I have at my death so I do not have to worry about my fur family when I'm gone.
