As long as leading health experts not funded by tobacco companies are in agreement that smoking and second-hand smoke are indeed injurious to the health of those affected by both, it would behoove government to set the health and safety requirements for people who do not smoke but find themselves employed by these venues. ================== This, in a nutshell, is the problem with those who wish to regulate our freedoms away, in the name of "health and safety", (something of which the federal government has no business being involved in) The fact is, that there is no study, by any group, entity, organization, health care provider, or any government that establishes second hand smoke is dangerous. Nada-Zip-Nunja-Zilch-Zero. It is far left extremists who wish to curtail private business and entrepreneurs, thereby causing a loss of revenue, whereas these same private businesses can sell cigarettes in their establishment, (get those tax dollars!!!) but cannot allow their patrons to utilize the products. Unconstitutional on its face, but there is no one in this Nation to date, that is willing to stick up for the Constitution in the face of "political correctness". By the way, I no longer smoke cigarettes. I am adamantly opposed to these anti-smoking laws in Florida and elsewhere in this Nation. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Thanks for being part of "PoliticalForum" at Google Groups.
