Hmmm... Politico has an interesting story up today:
Transition cash spent vetting, jetting <http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0309/19988.html> Two things jumped out at me: *$126,000 on the charter jet that flew the soon-to-be first family to Hawaii for a pre-Inauguration vacation.* and *$5,000 shredding documents* *but also paid $600 to destroy and replace the hard drives of 12 laptops.* The spending of tax payer money to fly on a "private jet" for a vacation is just too good to pass up coming from the "scold in chief." But seriously, given how "historic" Obama's transition was, why would they be paying to permenantly destory records? Posted by: Ranger | The question about destroying the hard drives and shredding documents. Remember all the brouhaha about Bush losing some emails? Remember how the Dems went after that one? Hypocrisy, thy name is DNC or better yet "Progressives" in general. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Thanks for being part of "PoliticalForum" at Google Groups.
