Well, now I see where we have gone astray in this topic! Your
definition of culture is different than mine. I do think there is a
universal sense of truth and beauty in Western Civilization' s
history. I am not sure about how the old Far East fits in but also see
beauty there. Anyway, I was thinking more about food, style and the
quirks that are handed down through the generations- just a personal
thought. But I think of culture as fluid- whether we are talking about
engineering or constructing an art form. This depends on other
realities: health, education, curiousity, talent, the means$$$, the
desire and so on. You may be too smart for me to debate with so I give
up!
