Why not do what they did when I grew up..... Kids have only the rights parents give them and the parents are held responsible for their kids actions.
There was far less abuse at the hands of parents (when they could exercise control at the end of Dads belt or whatever method they chose for punishment) than society is facing at the hands of the kids turned loose. Common sense must take hold some day. I grew up KNOWING that for a crime or infraction of the rules there was a price to be paid and I KNEW first hand.
