VT,

You ARE kidding, right? I mean, you can’t be that stupid.

First off, he was not arrested for being in his home. He was arrested
for disorderly conduct. Try to at least get that correct.

Republicans did not turn this into a racial issue; Gates did by
launching into his racially charged verbal abuse of the cop. Gates
then carries on, despite repeated warnings, until he gets himself
arrested. The MSM then jumps in and tries to make this into a racial
profiling case against the police despite a police report that clearly
shows Gates starting the confrontation. Obama then jumps in and,
despite admitting he doesn’t know all the facts, and does the
unthinkable by blaming the police and calling their actions “stupid”.
Not satisfied, he then starts in about the history of racial injustice
in this country.

…and you’re ‘stupid’ enough to write some editorial about the
Republicans making this a racial issue? Wow, that’s some set of
clueless cojones.

Besides, genius, the Republicans would have far more to lose than gain
by trying to make this into a racial issue.
