I never played the game myself. > The only thing that the Republicans can be blamed for, is not screaming > about the fraud loud enough! There's a reason why they didn't protest it very loudly is their banking buddies were busy making profits and bonuses so as to justify the economic policies of an administration they supported. 1. From 1995 -2007 (12 years), Republicans were majority leaders of the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs 10 of those years. 2. From 2001 -2007 Republican Mike Oxley was majority leader of the House Financial Services. 3. From 1995- 2006 (11 years) both Houses of Congress had a majority of Republicans, not to mention a tie-breaker VP vote in 2007. 4. From 2001-2008 (8 years) the Republican President had veto power. 5. 2001- 2009 (9 years) Bush Jr. appointed directors of the Treasury, 12 Governors of the quasi-government Federal Reserve and it's Chairman. It's typical that Republicans just never understand who's in charge when it's in fact them, or what these people are actually doing. It's just so much easier to blame someone who isn't in charge. But that's not being responsible, it's being deceiving. And that's why I'm here. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Thanks for being part of "PoliticalForum" at Google Groups.
