He also tried 36 times to get the Congress and the media to work to bring the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac under control and was stymied by some republicans and by the antics of the Barney Frank, Raines, Waters, etc crew as well as Chris Dodd, Conrad, and Obama who all claimed that there was nothing wrong with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This was during the period when Barney was having his affair with the head of the Fannie Mae group. You can find the hearings on You Tube and the statements of the Dems on the committees was eye opening, especially when you listen to them now. History is being rewritten as we speak by Barney and company.
