Obama has to do SOMETHING to satisfy the far left wing of the Democrat Party. Staying in power requires securing your base, first and foremost. Obie is risking losing even some of those through delivering on NOTHING he campaigned on. We aren't out of Iraq and casualties are growing. We haven't closed Gitmo and no out-of-business sign is in sight. We're actually ESCALATING the war in Afghanistan with no end game evident. Taxes are going up on EVERYONE. Tax cheat Charlie Rangel is passing legislation that will make IRS enforcement less flexible and more draconian than ever, even as he engages in systematic and continual tax evasion. If Obama doesn't pass some sort of health care reform, his hard core minions may not go to the other side, but their zeal to get motivated for him will disappear.
