Van Jones out - Just the Beginning! The resignation of Van Jones signals many things:
1 - It was dumped on a Sunday morning at 12:30am, on one of the two major holiday weekends of the summer so that little or no reporting wouldl take place. Had his resignation taken place during the week, we would have been subjected to days of “why” from the 24 hour news media. 2 – The fact that he was forced to resign is an attempt by the White House to distance itself from the firing of Van Jones, much the same way the CEO of GM was forced out back in the spring. In the style of Atlas Shrugged, the punishment received must be fully and willing accepted in order to validate the importance and power of the President. Investigations into Van Jones have been called for by Missouri Senator Christopher Bonds, and more were sure to follow.
