Over 6,000 cartel murders in '08, at least 7,000 before the end of '09. Many of the victims are children, police officers and politicians.
These murders will only stop when we legalize the production and sale of marijuana to adults, undercut the cartel's marijuana prices with legal weed thus eliminating two-thirds of the cartel's incomes. No business can withstand the loss of two-thirds of its income!
