Generally speaking, those who attend Tea Party rallies are more mature, more articulate, and more savvy concerning the crisis that is so evident in our present government. Having lower taxes, less government intervention in our lives, and more fiscal responsibility— across the generations—are simple objectives. Yet even the large and growing numbers of those in the Tea Party Movement are at a loss to know how to get the White House and Congress to start acting sensibly.
61% of those polled say they don’t want government controlling 16% of our economy. That’s the implied control if anything vaguely resembling the present House or Senate versions of Obama’s health care bill… passes. Nancy Pelosi declares: “A health care bill will be passed… for the American people.” Her animatronic lips quiver as she says those words. Obviously, Pelosi doesn’t understand polls, nor rallies. To her, anything other than her radical left-wing agenda isn’t grass roots, but “Astroturf”. For generations we Americans have been told by those in government how great our Constitution is. Most of the citizens are respecting of those institutions so much a part of the American Society. Yet, under our present Constitution government has evolved to be run by an elitist group of largely career politicians who couldn’t care less whether they do the bidding of the American People. It’s an insult to all thinking Americans that Barack Obama, the Anti- Christ, in his recent State of the Union Address, referred to our government as… “our great democracy”. The only truthful description of our type of government is: A FAILED Representative Republic. Why is such a failure? Because, even though we are allowed to vote for supposed representatives, those persons elected don’t do the bidding of their electorates. Or, at least with the rules and processes in place, the bidding of the people, simply, doesn’t get done. What we do on election days is to select our collective dictators. Those rascals can be identified as the ones standing or seated in front of stanchioned American flags and being interviewed, like royalty, by our equally elitist media. Our Founding Fathers would be appalled to realize that government is now controlling the people instead of vise versa. Folks, we have it in our power to PURGE our government of what’s wrong. But we must act quickly and correctly if the USA is to survive! Glenn Beck, that #2 celebrity behind Oprah, is an expert at pointing out how poorly served we all are by those in Washington. I used to believe that the first step in solving a problem was simply to recognize the problem. Over fourteen years ago I realized that our civil liberties were being squelched with each new law that got passed. I had heard: “Freedom builds giants!” With less freedom there will surely be less giants. If the USA could roll-back our government and our laws to be as they were in the 1950s, things would be better for more people. The latter roll-back should not, however, negate the Civil Rights Act, which the… “Fair play and democracy shall have supremacy in America.”, basic foundation of our Constitution, shall guarantee. Glenn Beck still uses an enlarged image of the Constitution as a backdrop for parts of his daily TV show. But he’s talking much less about his supposed… Refounders. Beck had said that the identity of those patriots would be kept secret so that their insider-discovered corruption in government might, safely, be made known. Beck does a marvelous job, by himself, of exposing the latter. Though his grasp of the urgency to begin correcting global warming, apparently, is beyond his particular intellect and political bent. Note: When glaciers all over the world melt, the oceans rise. Both of the latter are happening at an alarming rate. That said, Obama’s CAP and Trade legislation isn’t wise. There are more direct ways to address global warming than to over-burden existing businesses. This week, there’s an organizational meeting of the Tea Party Patriots. I was disappointed to hear that an apparent plan of attack is simply to raise funds for helping to get “good” people elected to Congress. There’s also ill-advised talk about letting the Tea Party Movement become a political party. Both of the latter are dead ends from the start! And having Sarah Palin be a keynote speaker won’t improve things in Washington… unless… she ACTS on her own statement that “People are fed up with the status quo in Washington!” The main status quo in Washington is those perennial CAREER POLITICIANS who purport to be wise enough to pull the strings on everything that gets done in the USA. *** The only way that the Tea Party Movement can accomplish their three simple objectives, as stated earlier, is to realize how imperative it is that my New Constitution of the USA be ratified! When all career politicians are outlawed from the Capital, this country can begin to be represented by the wise and non- egotistical citizens among us who aren’t beholden to the political party that allowed them to be on the ballot. Never again shall the USA be… split-down-the-aisle! Tea Party Patriots, hear this: Support my New Constitution so that— within your lifetime—government will be made to be non-adversarial to the People.
