ha-ha...at least I don't rely on other peoples brains to make a
point...certainly not baby bruces brain.

Now I remember what that Rush to idiocy was talking about...
he was talking about how disgraceful it was that Democrats forced "the
fine proud gentlemen from Toyota" to testify in front of a committee
looking into the sudden acceleration problems. And also how it was
shameful that the Democrats were going to rip into them. I think he
equated it to a public hanging.

He knows most of listeners aren't watching it on C-SPAN, so there's no
way 95% of his listeners can find out what he's talking about in real
time because they're a captive audience in their cars.

First El-Rush-Idiot; it was voluntary for the execs to show up.
Second, just as many Republicans (or there would be just as many
Republicans if they hadn't lost so bad the last 2 times) were grilling
them. Yes there were a couple Democrats that ripped into them, but
there were also a couple Republicans who did the same.
One Republican wasn't so mad about the safety issue as he was about
why Toyota didn't have any American execs in Toyota Japan! (Poor guy
obviously doesn't understand that's not how Republicanism works).

I give Mr. Toyoda credit for showing up knowing he's going to be
grilled. He showed remorse, took full responsibility, and promised a
through investigation. I've no reason to doubt his word.

Everything that El-Rush-Idiot would never do.
