ha-ha Now I remember what that Rush to idiocy was talking about... he interrupted one of idiot fans kissing his big fat ass to tell the audience he was watching the Democrats parade the execs from Toyota around in front of the media and rip into them over the sudden acceleration problem. "It's disgraceful how the Democrats can rip into and embarrass these proud fine gentleman from Japan" he said. ...knowing his audience wasn't watching because most are in their car somewhere wasting their time listening to him. And blaming Democrats for ripping into them like sharks. I think he even said this is like a public hanging... First the Toyota execs coming to testify was a voluntary thing el- RushIdiot. Second, I watched the entire event, and almost as many Republicans were "ripping into them". One, not for the issue at hand, but for not having any American executives in Toyota Japan! Doesn't he know that's not how Republicanism works. (?) Maybe he should have asked RushIdiot first? When Mr. Toyoda was asked if he felt he was being treated unfairly or differently than American automobile manufacturers, he answered "no". Personally I wasn't very impressed by the execs testimony or what they had to add (partly because of ongoing legal reasons), but I was impressed that they showed up, showed remorse, took responsibility for the matter and promised a through investigation and corrective actions.
