We put up a wall across the Gulf down to the sea floor. Drain the Gulf. Set off a few nuclear weapons at the bottom to open up the oil reservoir down there, and then instead of drilling and sucking it out as from a straw, we just let the Gulf basin fill up and siphon the oil out.
