The voting against Obama and the Dems in November was made up of
conservatives voting against the Daddy State. It is the "progressives"
who are pushing the whole concept of the nanny government.
They are telling us that we have to use low flush toilets (we have to
flush several times to get them to work) and now they are pushing CFL
light bulbs (filled with poisonous mercury that have to be treated as
hazardous materials if they break) and trying to force the fuels we use
and the food we eat. You don't see the conservatives doing that at
all. It was also the "progressives" who forced through all those PC
laws about what we could say until the SCOTUS told them it was
unconstitutional.
Now how about you tell us all about the various initiatives that the
conservatives pushed through that made up a "Daddy State."

I think you are reading this wrong. It is the "progressives" who
worship the state, not the conservatives and therefore the story is far
more pertinent to the "progressives" than it is to the conservatives.
Conservatives worship the Daddy State. ("Do as I say and not as I
do").
You can spin it however you want, but just be sure that you're wrong
in doing so.
It's pertinent to any and all ideologies.
