Just read this column on ZDNET, a tech pub from CBS. Compare and
contrast the emails being mined from Sarah Palin to the actions of
Weiner and you will see what I mean about what a pig he is:

The commenters here are very much in her corner and several of them ask
about doing the same thing to Obama and his senate, state senate and
other emails. Sounds like a winner to me. Bet the lawyers would be on
that one in a second.

Okay...here we go. The guy is an idiot. He obviously has some mental
issues about sexual deviancy. The personalities that go into
politics are (in general) like those that are surgeons, some
professional atheletes, fighter pilots, police and lawyers (which many
politicians are) are different than the average person. There is
something about the group that makes them (in general) thrill seekers
to a degree, overly confident, and sometimes abusive. Ofcourse, not
all are like this.
What always baffles me is that what type of judgement they exercise
when making decisions that affect the daily lives of Americans if they
use such poor judgement about sending lewd photos to complete
strangers. Since I am in medicine there have been a few deviants
that I have had to deal with who have similar behavior. And that was
always astounding-if some of the patient's knew how some of their drs
were, they would not keep them.
But what about those out there who don't get caught? Or pay off their
partners in crime to keep their mouths closed. Men will be men....and
I have not met one yet who has not been proud of his little buddy but
only rarely are they insistant on this type of behavior and then they
are no longer an acquaintence of mine.
I mean really, there is a silver lining in the cloud for the
right-here is one less voting member in the house and nothing like a
pre-election year scandal. And on the bright side, it was to adult
women (that we know of) and not underaged pages or minor children.
These guys in D.C. and elewhere should know better but it is their
egos and the sense of the thrill that gets in the way of better
judgement. If I were his wife, his stuff would have been in the front
yard immediately even if I had to Fed Ex the key to my best friend.
But it seems like the only thing she is worried about is the money.
That is very sad.
About the constituents that back him-this is not too unexpected. If
they are those who are into forgiveness and over looking and depend on
the definition of is-is who can really blame them. But Weiner should
have resigned immediately, no ifs; ands; or buts. But therein lies his
arrogance.

Don't these people have any respect for integrity and honor and
