forced innocent expression.
"So......" he drawled, hoping someone would change the topic before he
really embarrised himself "We ha' one madhatter ready te get bailed an'
another one about ready te bail himself?"

Nick quickly smiled and then told Kat, "you had better go say goodnight to
your mom while the doctor checks me out and then we can get started to your
house." He saw the expression on Phillips face and knew he had to do
