Alex started the car and headed home, glancing at Derek from time to time
tomake srue he was all right. She wasn't so sure that he should be leaving
the hospital and she wondered just who he bullied to get let out so soon.
Of course it was obvious that he wasn't feeling any pain at the moment, but
what about later?
Julia actually beat them home, which was not much of a surprise. Alex
pulled up just in time to see Kat running into the house. She was little
surprised to see her enter the house so easily after what had happened. "It
looks like someone's glad to be home," she commented as she parked the car
and walked around to help Derek out. She had one arm around his waist to
steady him and he other on his arm just to make sure. Betweenis injuries
and the drugs she wasn't too sure about his stability. "Philip, would you
mind helping Derek get settled when we get in? There's something Ineed to
take care of."
Kat ran as fast as she could to her room to retrieve Tuffy and then
proceeded to Nick's where she found the camcorder. She put the strap over
her head, it was the safest way for her to handle it, in it's nice soft
case. Then she ran downstairs arriving down there just about the time the
others were getting into the foyer.(she's fast.:-)
