Julia watched Nick go join Philip and then turned to grin
at Kat "let me take a look at that."
"Ooooh, it's gorgeous," she smiled as Kat moved the ring
this way and that so that the light caught the L inside. She was thinking
along the same lines, unknowing, as Kat had earlier and made a mental note to
take Kat up to her old room. She had a small jewelry box she had had ever
since her 12th birthday - a small light hued wooded box that, when opened,
played a soft melody. It was just the right size to hold a few things in
but not bulky. Matter of fact, it matched Kat's room, which made it even
better.
She traced her finger across the stone and leaned forward
"I think it's perfect.." she whispered the rest "And I have been getting the
good on Derek."
She pointed to the camera hidden by the lamp, making sure
no one saw the gesture, and then straightened to say a little more loudly (aka
at a normal tone) and nodded at the sandwich makings "We better grab some before
all the guys beat us to it and eat us out of here."
