Jimmy had been running all night, unbelieving of his
luck. He had managed to stay out of the Soulchaser's way and was finally
reaching Angel Island. He could see the front door now -- he had to
hurry!
meanwhile....
"Sshhh, Kat isn't awake yet." Julia chuckled softly as
they reached the front door and entered, both having decided to go for a morning
run as they did the usual morning grounds security check.. and a little neckin'
along the way. "We have time for some coffee and then to get started
on-umph!"
Julia had been the one at the door and was now the one
catching her balance on it as she was pushed forward and into it with a
disembodied 'Sorry!' sounding behind her before the form started to take shape
in front of Nick.
"Jimmy?" She asked as she finally recognized the person
from an old picture Nick used to keep around. Julia had never met the man
before and had only placed him because of the picture Nick had showed her when
she had first recruited him into the Legacy, but now she was looking at him with
a measure of surprise and bewilderment.
"What the -" she straightened and started toward him,
absently closing the door behind her as she headed toward him and
Nick.
"Little brother-" Jimmy half landed into Nick's arms as he
almost fell from the exhaustion he was feeling.
