Nick had heard the commotion and ran out into the hallway and looked down
the stairs where he saw Julia talking to the one
person...the one thing he never thought he would see again.
"Oh shit, I knew it was to good to be true." Nick said as he looked down at
the Soulchaser.

The Soulchaser looked up, his eyes flashing once again and he took half a
step forward, "Boyle."
Julia looked up before the Soulchaser had tried to move forward but once he
did she was looking back at him and, surprisingly, sticking her hand onto
his chest, ready to face him down if need be "Yes?"
He looked down at her and the hand she had placed on him, not really
surprised that she would stand up to him and even respecting her bravery as
he motioned once, up at Nick, with his chin and growled "Boyle."
Julia raised the hand that held the medical kit, showing him the wedding
band "Boyle. And back off."
Something crossed the behemoth's face - surprise, grudging acceptance and a
look he shot Nick that said 'you lucked out this time' - before he stopped
and even took a step back, making Julia blink in surprise.
Not that she wasn't relieved mind you... but the man was what-four times her
size? One swipe and she knew she was out for the count. And yet, with him
speaking of respect, reputation and all that, it was almost as if....
As if the Soulchaser was showing her some professional courtesy/respect.
Well, she thought, slipping Nick a look as she lowered her hand shot it up
to toss him the kit, at least she had been fighting the bad guys during her
time in the other realm.
But what, she continued, moving her hands to place on her hips with a
thoughtful expression, what was she going to do now.. and with an hour
before Kat woke up?
