Philip looked up at the hulking man and raised an eyebrow before looking
around and wondering what the hell was going on and then spotting Julia
coming back up the stairs.
"Ohhh Julia." he called out to her, the tone an obvious 'can ye explain this
one to me please?'
Julia looked over and felt her lips twitch at the sight as she made her way
over to them "Father Philip Callahan meet the Soulchaser, Soulchaser, wipe
the growl off your face before you scare someone and this is Father Philip
Callahan."
She pointed the Soulchaser back to his room and took Philip by the arm "Long
story and he needs to rest. Come with me to the Control Room and we'll
talk."
She looked back at the guardian of damned souls and pointed to the room
"Sleep. I'll be in to check on you in a bit."
Derek heard voices out in the hall and recalled Julia having knocked and so
started to move, pulling back the sheet and cover and sitting up, only to do
a double-take at the back of a little girl that peeked out from the other
side.
What was Kat doing in here...? he thought, only to click on the color of the
child's hair and stand up with something akin to shock and disbelief.
That wasn't Kat.
He went to the bedroom door, opened it and as Julia passed, tugged her in
and pointed at the child "What is that doing in my bed?"
Julia blinked "Uh..."
