Dominic continuing with cooking the waffles and hiding a half grin. It
wasn't often one saw the Professor at a loss for words. Had the situtation
not been so dire he would be enjoying the sight.

Alyssa looked up a bit startled when Derek began to fill her juice glass
again. "Thank you," she said politely.
Alex looked at them both, something registered when she saw the little
girl, but it hadn't really clicked. Now, she thought she knew what it was,
but she couldnt' really remember. She needed to see something. She looked
at the pair, both looked completely lost. "Everything is going to be all
right," she said to them both giving Alyssa a quick hug. She hated to
abandon him, but she needed to check on something. She started to ask if he
thought he could handling things if she went to find something, but changed
her mind. Alyssa would you like to help Dominic make the waffles? I bet
he'd let you pour them if you want to," she hoped the man didn't mind her
volunteering him. She then took a seat by Derek, lowering her voice
somewhat. "Derek, where is your family album?"
