"She was in the room with you guys the time I saw her, isn't she still
there," Alex asked frowning. She had a slight moment of panic. Oh God,
what if she'd lost Derek's daughter!
"You look around down here I'll head upstairs." Julia suggested, already
taking the stairs two at a time and making it to the second floor.
Carefully as not to startle the girl if she came across her, Julia went from
room to room, ending up at the old library.
She walked in, a stray thought of the repairs being done ahead of schedule
and looking like new, when she spotted Alyssa "There you are. Get bored?"
