Alyssa, who had reached the library and was staring at the rows upon of
books, and thinking about climbing on a shelf or two to reach the top,
turned and looked at Julia solemnly. She nodded slowly. "Did you read all
these books?"
"I've read quite a few," Julia admitted with a smile as she looked at the
books as well "But not all of them. I think Derek's the only one that's
done that so far."
Then she looked at Alyssa and motioned toward the door and held out her hand
"Why don't we go let Alex know where we are and we'll try and find you a
good book to read. She's worried since you went off without telling
anyone."
It was a gentle 'hint' to Alyssa about both worrying people and letting them
know about leaving a place where she was without telling someone and Julia
left it at that as they went to the railing of the stairs and Julia called
down to Alex, "Found her."
