Julia fell hard to the ground and tried to take deep breaths to make up for the lack
of oxygen, only to hiss in pain and curl up on her side to try and ride the wave of
pain out, even managing to roll over into the circle in case the Hunter got the idea
to come right back.

Within a minute of hearing The Hunter's howl of pain, The Soulchaser had arrived at
the flaming circle and was at Julia's side. He had been tracking the Hunter all day,
but had lost the trail just a moment ago. Julia's clearing had seved as a nice signal
for him.

"You're fine," Soulchaser reassured Julia. Apparently, the Hunter's plans had
changed. He no longer wanted Alex Moreau, he was after the Walker. "Stay close to
me," he told her.

Standing up, he looked around, feeling the Hunter's aura as if it was surrounding
them. The Guardian of souls clutched his fist, as he knew that he could rematerialize
from any angle he desired.

"C'mon, you gruesome freak," he muttered. "Lets see you pick on someone your own
size."
