Julia was half coughing, half choking but still on her side. She wasn't going anywhere, no insult. She made it up to her hands and knees before trying to speak, albeit with a hoarse voice "He's not coming back this soon..... I hurt him..." The Soulchaser hadn't seen the protection rite kick up but Julia could still smell the scent of charred flesh. Ugh, she thought, staying in that position for now because to roll onto her back would hurt like hell, Nick gets better from cracked ribs and here she goes trying to become one with a tree....... She looked up and toward the house and sighed ====== Nick ran out the door hearing the SoulChaser's voice. He immediately ran to Julia's side and kneeled. "What happened?" he asked, "you alright?"
