Derek had answered the phone and now wondered if Sloan had
overdosed on caffeine or something. First speaking so quickly as not to
let Derek get a word in edgewise before the London Precept hung up and then to
order him to the library, in his own home, as if he ran Derek's
House.
He raised one eyebrow and watched as the girls ran around
the garden before leaving a message at the gate for Sloan to say he could come
out to the garden if he wanted to talk.
"Katherine." he called out when the girls ran out of his
sight to let her know that she had gone too far.
