Kat sighed heavily and spun around beginning to chase Alyssa back the other
direction. Alyssa began to giggle at this. She ran back into the garden
and right into to Derek, as she was glancing back to see how close Kat was
to catching her. The little girl toppled over backwards and lay ther for a
moment in shock.
Derek knelt down and helped her up, gaze concerned and a little surprised at
the abruptness of it all "Are you alright?"
He gently took her arms to check and make sure she hadn't cut herself at the
same time looking over to make sure Kat had returned as well.
